It’s that time again! The Aché Performance Project is about to begin it’s 20TH SEASON! This is a huge milestone for both Frankie Martinez and the Aché training process. We hope you’ll join us as we create and share another innovative composition!

Led by world renowned dancer and Artistic Director of the Abakuá Afro-Latin Dance Company, Frankie Martinez, this 12 week intensive is an in-depth look into the dance performance process. Conducted as a professional company, you will experience the complete process of what goes into a production. From Frankie’s on the spot inception of choreography, to Afro-Latin technique training and methodology, to Showtime! It continues to be an experience like no other!


Nothing but dedication and an open mind. This is an OPEN LEVEL class and welcome to ALL! Frankie’s experience working with diverse groups of students is what makes this process so beneficial and unique!

Whether you are new to Afro-Latin dance or a seasoned professional, this course is sure to challenge and develop your dancing and your life in new ways!


* Class will be held on Saturdays from 12:00 - 2:00PM

* Rate: $300 for the full 12-Weeks (additional rehearsals included)

* Location: You Should be Dancing Studio at 412 8th Avenue 4th Floor, NYC

* Confirmed performances at the end of January: TBA

**Please note: additional rehearsals/training will be scheduled at Frankie’s discretion.

***Our indoctrination meeting will take place Saturday, Nov 3rd at 1PM with choreography starting the following Saturday, Nov 10. So be sure and SIGN UP soon!***
